You can give in-person by check or cash at any of our Sunday or other worship experiences.
Simply fill out the offering envelope provided as you enter the sanctuary, and drop it in the offering basket during the Offering time.

Permanent Endowment Fund
Gifts to the Permanent Endowment Fund of the First United Methodist Church of Toms River demonstrate an enduring commitment to your Christian Witness. Your gift can be in the form of a bequest, a trust or gift annuity, and can help assure that God’s work through our church will continue beyond your life while giving you maximum financial flexibility during your lifetime.
Your gift to the Permanent Endowment fund remains intact with only the earnings from the Fund’s investments being used to benefit the work of The First United Methodist Church of Toms River.
Planning your Gift
Your gift to the Church’s Permanent Endowment fund can be made in a number of different ways:
- An outright gift of cash, public traded securities, real property (Personal or otherwise)
- A planned gift through a bequest in your will, beneficiary designation through a life insurance policy, or retirement plan or life income plans such a Charitable Gift Annuity.
In Recognition of your Gift
The Reverend Dr. Harold and Caroline Schmul Heritage Society, named in honor of former senior pastor and his wife will recognize those who have made an outright gift or a planned gift to the Permanent Endowment Fund of the the First United Methodist Church of Toms River.
To qualify for this recognition a minimum gift of $5,000.00 is required.
